The sounds of Hollows screaming their final roars could be heard echoing through the dark night, the sound reverberating off of billboards and buildings, bleeding straight through walls to anyone with ears finely tuned enough to hear them. Coupled with the death-rattles of various Hollows were the soft slicing sounds of a blade slicing through flesh and armor, followed by the soft crackle and snap of flames in the quiet time between each roar of pain. The sky itself above Karakura Town was a battlefield as Hollows seemed to pour in from each direction, and in the center of the storm was a black cloud of motion and destruction, a swirling cloud of flame that seemed to ripple with power as more and more Hollows shot towards the center, intent on trying their hand at catching the tasty meal of a very powerful soul.
For several moments the battle continued as more and more Hollows seemed to appear out of nowhere, until finally they stopped coming and the numbers circling the fiery cloud began to dwindle, growing smaller and smaller until finally one figure was left standing alone, hovering in the skies above Karakura Town. Long, silver hair flowed around the man's athletic form as he slowly began to descend towards the city's ground level at a gentle pace, the zanpakuto held in his right hand roaring with flames that danced nearly above his own head, running the length of his shoulders and opposite arm as well. However as he landed, his feet gently touching upon the pavement of the street, the fire from the blade extinguished, as well as the fire upon his shoulders and arm, from the moment he slid his zanpakuto home in its sheathe attached to his belt.
He reached up with his right hand, moving the long strands of hair away from his face as he turned to face towards the center of town. He had chosen not to wear his Hollow mask while he was fighting, as it would confuse the Hollows and they wouldn't attack him as eagerly. Frankly he had been itching to release his anxiety for a few days now, and the previous battle had been more than exhilirating, causing the blood to thunder through his veins. He had been able to sense the Spiritual Pressure of several beings just like himself in the area around Karakura Town, though he hadn't been able to pinpoint its exact location, which had lead him to a dead end in his search from the moment he'd reached the town.
"...what to do now...." He said, his tone slightly bored as he looked around the abandoned street, seeing a few spirits in the area watching him with curiosity and caution, already been privy to the battle that had just finished. He paid them no attention as he began to walk down the road, adjusting the black leather trenchcoat that hung around his athletic form loosely.
