Karakura Town (5 sub-boards) A City in western Tokyo, Karakura town is a small town with an average population of inhabitants which are mostly unaware of the immense spiritual activity around them. Karakura Town is referred to as District 3600 by the Shinigami and is situated on the current "juureichi" - the point in the Human World that possess the greatest concentration of spiritual beings.
Kagamino City Kagamino City is a population center in Japan in the Human World. It is situated 22 kilometers east of Karakura Town. Though Karakura is large in it's own right, Kagamino is an international city, catering to tourists and oversea trade.
Dangai The Dangai, or Dangai Precipice World to be specific , is the dimension between Soul Society and the Human World. Naturally, the Dangai has some defenses against Hollows and other spiritual beings attempting to pass through the realm. This is why Shinigami are the only ones who can truly use it efficiently for travel between both the world of the living and the Soul Society.
Kouryu is the current that is constantly flowing through the Dangai, in order to prevent enemies such as Hollows from using it. The current stops souls from moving, and even one foot caught by it makes escape almost impossible. It encompasses the walls, capturing anyone who makes contact with them.
A Janitor, is the Dangai's equivalent to a street sweeper. The Janitor appears once every seven days to cleanse the area, killing anyone, and everything that makes contact with it. It looks like the same material making up the Precipice World, only molded into the shape of a bullet train, and a golden eye at the upper-center of it's body.
Rukongai Rukongai is the largest portion of Soul Society and the most populated. It is divided into 320 districts (80 in North Rukongai, 80 in West Rukongai, etc.), each numbered in descending order on how far they are from the center; this results in the higher-numbered (and farther) districts decaying into slums.
Seireitei (3 sub-boards) Seireitei is in the center of Soul Society. It is a circular shiro with four main entrances, ten days walk apart, each guarded by a Gate Guardian. These gates are called the Black Ridge Gate (in the North), the Blue Stream Gate (in the East), the Red Hollow Gate (in the South) and the White Way Gate (in the West). The gates are extremely heavy. There are, however, doors within them
The walls of Seireitei are made of Sekkiseki, a rare type of stone known to negate all Reiryoku, similar to magnetic lodestones, which prevents the ability to gather Reishi underneath your feet to walk in the air whist within Seireitei. The stone also forms a spherical barrier around the city, extending above and below, stopping anything spiritual from breaching it from ground level, from the sky or from underground.
Dunes Hueco Mundo is located between the Human world and Soul Society, though it is separate from the bordering dimension known as Dangai. It can only be accessed by tearing the dimensional fabric separating the worlds, allowing Hollows to travel to any other dimension at will.
The landscape of Hueco Mundo is a seemingly never-ending white desert, with dunes like those of the Sahara. The desert is littered with what appear to be boulders and shrivelled trees, but these are actually a form of quartz. In Hueco Mundo, the moon is on the opposite lunar phase of that in the Human World. The vast desert also seems to lack any bodies of water. Like in Soul Society, the atmosphere is filled with Reiryoku in the form of Reishi, but it is more concentrated, thus allowing smaller Hollows to gain nourishment despite the lack of Human souls.

Las Noches Las Noches is a massive fortress which can be seen for miles in Hueco Mundo. It consists of a main building with a domed center surrounded by several large towers and smaller buildings. Atop the dome are six smaller towers (or as they appear), which seem to contain areas such as a throne room and a meeting hall. it is a brilliant, solid white color.
The Demonic Gateway The Gates of Hell are chained shut and adorned with the bandaged head and torso of a skeleton on each door. The arms of both skeletons are positioned at an angle to pull the gates open when it is summoned. On the inside, the Gates appear to be prevented from opening fully by two thick ropes with charms attached to them.

Hell (1 sub-board) The Underworld is a place where Hollows are sent if their former lives were evil. The Zanpakuto of a Shinigami can only cleanse spirits of the sins they committed as a Hollow. If the spirit committed heinous crimes as a Human, it will not be sent to Soul Society, but through the Gates of Hell.
