&its time for her to leave, as Captain Ichinose began on his opinion on the betrayal, a slight discomfort ran through Rangiku's body. Her head was still down, but she moved forward slightly - her forehead now pressed up against Reako's chest. The height difference bewteen the two was not much yet enough to make Rangiku feel discreet. A small sigh escaped from her mouth as she held back the tears ready to flow from her beautiful pale eyes. "Ichimaru.... well, I wasn't as surprised..." Rangiku lifted her head slightly, her hand tightening up to a fist. "I guess no one knew him like I did." Which was very true in most cases. Her small hand dropped its tight position as Rangiku's back fell against a wall. She turned to her side, her arms crossed. The feeling of sadness and hurt ran throughout her veins. Reako had a point.. no one trusted Gin so how was it much of a suprise.
she caught Reako wincing at the fact he then remembered the closeness bewteen herself and Gin. It didn't bother her to much, but the next couple minutes did. Her head fell back, having her beautiful constructed body relying on the wall to support herself. " . .I won't hesitate to try and kill them..." - Was all she caught of his mouth, the edge of his tone slightly weakening her. Rangiku wanted to defend Gin, but she couldn't. He did this to himself, so why should she fell guilty for his own decisions? "Yeah, I can understand that. I suppose its my duties to feel and act the same way." Her voice was unsure, yet shaky and not ready for what was to become of Gin and the rest of them in the near future. But for some reason, she had comfort in knowing that Gin (&His team) was strong.. and he would have no problems defending anyone off on his own.
[/font] soon the topic was void, and everything seemed small and calm again. Rangiku pulled herself up, and weakly turned around to look at Reako. The students went off to do what they pleased and left the two alone. She still felt comfortable and almost at a still with weird feelings floating in the air that they breathed. No tension was held bewteen the two - and the air blew by her once again but almost made her feel at rest with herself and Reako. " I feel the same." The words we're so little yet meant so much. There time together and hopefully more time in the future would help Rangiku think of other things then what was troubling her greatly now. Raeko watched her as she moved away, enjoying the brief moment of physical contact while she was pressed against his form. He felt a bit angry at himself for not choosing his words more carefully, and just saying what happened to be on his mind at the time. It was the same situation that was happening with his Lieutenant, Momo Hinamori, she had been deeply in love with Captain Aizen, revering him to an almost deity-like level and his betrayal had absolutely devestated the woman, leaving her in an almost comatose-like state. He was extremely worried about her, considering nothing he tried to say or do seemed to have any effect on her. He really wasn't too surprised though as he knew he would probably have reacted the same way if placed in their position.
He knew it was something that would probably be brought up in conversation again, something he would have to possess a little bit more tact with when he spoke of it to her the next time. However the simple fact that Gin was causing this much mental anguish to Lieutenant Matsumoto only further served to increase the animosity he held towards the man. How could he go and betray someone like her of all people....? It was a concept that Raeko just simply could not fathom. Thankfully his next statement seemed to bring the previous topic to a close, ending the awkwardness and tension that had started to build in the air around them, leaving them once more with the comfortable feeling that had been with them the entire time up until now.
Raeko moved a few steps forward, closer to her, lifting his right hand to once again rest it on her left arm, running his thumb across the silken fabric of her robe in a comforting fashion. Raeko kept his eyes directed into hers, not letting them fall to her chest, the way the majority of the men in the Seiretei would, doing it more on a subconscious level then really placing thought into the matter, it just came down to the fact that he truely respected Rangiku as the woman she was, not as the sexual figure she represented. "You have really beautiful eyes..." He said in an almost off-hand gesture, as if the thought had just randomly come to him and decided to sprout out of his thoughts and into vocalization. He began to feel a little bit unsure of what to say, never really being the overly vocal type, it left him kind of awkward in a lot of social situations, even more so with delicate ones such as the situation he was now in.

&its time for her to leave, as Reako reached out and touched her arm gently, her eyes fell down upon the ground. Rangiku didn't move until she felt his eyes down upon her. She looked up for a brief moment, her eyes shifting in the light - her ice opals gleaming back. "Thank you.. I can say the same to you." She stayed in place for a while, letting her hand fall upon top of Reako's wrist. She ran her small, tender and harmless fingers up his arm tracing every vain, cut, and scar. Biting her bottom lip, before continuing up to his shoulders, Rangiku's body, closer to his , fell back a bit as she withdrew a warm breath.
turning her head, she looked out over to see the sky a beautiful orange, with red mixed in with highlights of yellow. She adjusted her mood, to more of the moment style. Rangiku's light passion flowed through her veins, as she moved away from Reako's body and turned around to look at him, a question burning in her beautiful eyes. "Coming?" If he came along with her was his own choice, and if he didn't it wouldn't hurt her. She was already torn enough - what could tear her down more? Her long hair blew along with the soft breeze as her hands squeezed the cloth of her long robe.
[/font] if time was any slower - Rangiku would have died. It felt as if the ticking in her mind couldn't stop as she turned to look out over at the sky. She wished then that she was in the world of the living, watching the sunset from something more real and elaborate. Rangiku closed her eyes, then turned back around to look at Reako's posture. He was comfortable, as was she. But something more was found throughout the tension. As she stepped forward, Rangiku had a great feeling Reako wouldn't leave - but stay by her side. And if he didn't, it was another person that failed to live up to what she once looked at in a man. Gin always tended to leave her without mentioning a thing, so if she found another like him - she couldn't be able to bear it. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify][/blockquote]

Raeko watched her as she turned towards him, the single question she asked hanging in the air around the two, weighted with the possibilities that each answer would entail. On one hand if he declined the offer, he could simply turn and leave now, knowing that at this point it wouldn't effect her mentality in one way or another. She was far too broken for anymore dissappointment to have any impact on her whatsoever, he knew this, he also knew that it would be something that would plague his mind forever if he declined this invitation, it would haunt his thoughts with the possiblity of 'what-if?' However if he chose to go with her, he knew it would quite possibly be the start of a beautiful friendship and possibly even something better that would sprout from it.
He could tell that she needed it, she needed the positive companionship in her life that he previously love had not given her. She was very much the same as himself in that way, that Raeko really needed someone to be there for him as well. He'd spent so much time on his own, away from the Seiretei with no one to trust, and no one that really cared if he was alive or dead. He looked towards her, seeing her fragile state of mind being placed out into the open so freely, he knew this was something she wouldn't show anyone else, this vulnerability was for his eyes alone. For a long moment he remained silent, his normally cold eyes showing compassion alone as he watched her, "...of course." He said simply, walking forward as well to move up beside her.
However before they began to walk anywhere, to begin their talks and whatnot that would follow this moment, he took another step towards her, drawing their proximity even closer than it was before, bringing them mere inches apart from one another. He remained silent as he reached forward with both of his athletic arms, slowly encircling them around her shoulders as he pulled her form close to his own, wrapping his arms around her in a warm fashion. He knew that this embrace would mean more to her than it would to anyone else at the moment, it was an acceptance of her as a person and the problems that came with her, it was a silent promise to her that he would stand by her always. There was more words being portrayed in the simple gesture of the embrace than could ever be properly vocalized.

&its time for her to leave, when Reako accepted her invitation, her face was lit with dim, yet beautiful happiness. Rangiku knew he seen this as something only himself would see, and he wanted to take advantage of it. She felt slightly weak as he moved beside her, her head was light but everything felt right. Her bronze, light reflecting skin was settle, and ready for him to touch her. Everything around her was futile as her mind wandered at what others might think, but soon things became obsolete. Her walk was more familiar, and comfortable as she only made one small step forward before feeling the warmth of his body before her.
as he embraced her, Rangiku's eyes widened then fell over time. She bit her bottom lip, as her arms went around his back. Her hands slid up, against the cloth that was worn against his skin. Rangiku used passion within her touch and soon gripped his clothing in her hand. She wanted to cry, no she needed to. What was this feeling he was representing her with? Rangiku understood, but not fully and only left cracks and silence in the air. Her cheek was pressed against his chest as, she moved her head to the other side. Her heart throbbed a bit, as the embrace became less a surprise. Promises of loyalty towards the two shone in the air in a warm twist of amazement.
[/font] she didn't really want the moment to end. Her eyes we're closed now, the comfort from his skin was pulled more against her own and it was like she was a child again. Like being rocked to sleep by someone who cared in former sense of love. Rangiku's body was tense and upheld before, now she was soft, and her posture was leaned thankfully against his. Acceptance of each other was what filled her heart with amazement. This was what she wanted, what she needed - but it was from the wrong person. It didn't bother her, maybe this was what she really wanted. slightly confused with herself, the moment was moved around by different emotions filling her mind. Soon, her hands let go of his robe and traced down his back. Following his spine, Rangiku still didn't move away until her hands we're hung by her side. She lifted her head to look up at him once more, before simply pulling her body away from his. She kept quiet as her eyes still gazed at the man she admired in front of her. Rangiku was bound with emotions for different things and people. Finding them was the easy part, sorting through them was something that was hard to bear.[/font] [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify][/blockquote]

Raeko watched as she finally pulled away from him, his dark eyes looking deeply into her own with a look that seemed to be able to peel through her defenses and glance into her very soul. It wasn't something he did intentionally, it was just the natural talent of observation that shown through in his eyes when he was lost in thought. The embrace had been wonderful to say the least, a true connection of their spirits that for a brief moment had brought the two of them together into one comfortable feeling. It was very nice.... but Raeko knew it wasn't something that could last, or atleast he had a nagging feeling in his stomach that it wouldn't last, and as she pulled away, her hands dropping to her sides, the look of confusion that settled in her eyes told him all he needed to know.
He let out a gentle sigh, and turned towards the balcony railing once more that lined the outside of the Shinigami Academy. Each of his hands went to opposite sides of the railing as he leaned against it, his muscular arms displaying every curve and contour in the soft sunset light. He knew the reason behind her confusion, the reason behind her inner turmoil, and he knew he was defenseless to do anything to help her with it. It was something she would have to figure out on her own, something she would have to make her own decision with and decide what would be best for her, and he had a feeling, though he hoped with all of himself that he was wrong, that she would end up choosing the side that would end up getting her hurt once more.
His face was emotionless as he stared once more out across the buildings of the Seiretei, his eyes gazing at everything and nothing. He knew this was something he probably shouldn't get himself emotionally involved in, as it had a high probability of resulting in himself coming out on the losing end. Ichimaru and Rangiku had a long and deep history together, and he had just met her, though he knew that he would be the best option for Rangiku, he also knew that her mind was clouded with emotion towards the man she loved. What was he to do...? Simply give up and walk away..? He knew he couldn't.... not with the way he already felt about her within a few moments of her company. She was worth the risk to him, worth the trouble that might come out of it, was he any better? Thinking with his heart instead of his head..?
"Should I even hope...?" He asked finally, his voice soft as before, drifting across the silence to reach her ears as he stayed in his current position leaning with his arms on the balcony railing, a soft current of wind pulling at his Captain's robes, causing his mid-length black hair to blow about his face.
