Hotaru was surprised as she spotted the newly arrived hollows, they just kept coming and coming, what was attracting them so badly? Would it ever end? She didn’t get enough time to think about the answer, the hollows had begun their move. She saw one of them to charge against the human kid…how could they leave him so exposed? The first hollows had really distracted them. Through she barely had time to react, her right foot twitched as well as her shoulder as a reflect act, attempting to run and aid Tokei. At that instant she saw a purple light coming from him, and the hollow stopped on its tracks. Her mind attempted to start moving forward to help him, unluckily her body didn’t respond as fast as she would have liked, and to get things worst the other hollows were going towards her; maybe she could make it, through she had used the majority of spiritual force, maybe if she concentred was she had left of her force she could make a direct hit; however she wasn’t so sure if she could make it on time...if she didn’t…probably she was going to die…again. “Soa…-“Was all she could say before she could feel a current of air over her, and then the captain appeared in front of her. And then in an instance the two hollows pretending to attack her were vanishing, as well as the one threatening Tokei. If she had blinked she wouldn’t have been able to see how everything happened, and she barely saw something; just some moments passing quickly like flashes. She lost her footing for a second, and then gained it back. Surprisingly for Hotaru, she had grown enough nervous in those extremely short moments to make her heart beat unusually fast. She took some deep breaths to settle it down; once she was done she looked back to the captain. “Thank you for handle those hollows Captain Ichinose, and please forgive my slow reaction, it won’t happen again” She said while bowing again; she really wished that she would have had enough ability to get rid of those hollows, but in her actual conditions she was way too tired and hungry to fight for a long time. She then turned her attention back to Tokei, something was going on with him, those purple lights and all the “freezing hollow” thing weren’t normal in a human; well…the human himself wasn’t as normal since he could see spiritual being. Hotaru jumped down the building and trotted over to Tokei “Kid, are you alright?” She said while shaking his shoulder softly. She looked at his hand, where she held a strange-looking staff; she wondered where he got it, she didn’t remember that he had it when she first saw him… She looked around for hollows around, while reducing her spiritual pressure the more she could to not attract more hollows. “Seems like they’re finally gone…wish I could have a little moment of peace in this hollow-infested city…now…where can I find an “all can you eat” buffet and a comfy bed? I really need them…” She thought for herself.

Tokei blinked, and the hollow was gone, and suddenly he was being shaken. The other Hollows were gone as well, as he looked around, a little disoriented, there was a staff which he held, but it wasn't there before.
"I-I'm okay, I think..." He said, quietly. "I was right... Time is my weapon... that's why any watch or clock around me would break." Tokei looked at his clock, and the purple hand remained. He looked back at the staff, as it started to disappear with a slight glow of purple.
As the staff disappeared, Tokei almost immediately lost his balance, as the power it took out of him took it's toll. He was exhausted. He knelt down, to pick up the cracked glasses, and put them on. "I think I'm going to keep these, they awoke my ability to see things like you, and they were from my grandfather." Tokei said, as he started to stand back up.
"Now what happens?"

Raeko's eyes immediately went to Tsuzuki as he listened to her words of apology. "Stop..." He said, his tone was firm, though still held a kind edge to it. "You have nothing to apologize for... you took down three Hollows by yourself... that's a feat for any Soul Reaper.... be proud of yourself." He said simply, bringing his athletic arms to cross over his broad chest as he looked between the two of them. That was more Hollows than he'd ever witnessed at one place at the same time before, and he was beginning to get a little bit concerned. It had seemed like lately the Hollow appearances had been happening more and more often over the last few weeks, was something in the works? Was former Captain Aizen behind it? Raeko had no idea, but he had a feeling he should probably try and see what he could find out.
He looked towards Tokei, remaining silent for a long moment as he studied the boy. It seems he posessed some type of time-control Spiritual Power, normally he would be surprised by finding abilities in a normal human, but with the frequency of humans like Tokei popping up lately, it wasn't something that surprised him anymore. He heard Tokei's question and considered it for a moment, he looked towards Tsuzuki, "If you don't mind... you might want to hang around him, keep him safe. With the level of activity among the Hollows lately, I wouldn't be surprised if they came after him soon..." He said in a gentle tone, trying as hard as he could to keep it from sounding like an order. A Captain could give an order to any Soul Reaper, despite their division, but Raeko hated to do it if he could help it.
"I... probably need to get away from the two of you as quickly as I can... I have a feeling they're attracted to me the most and I don't want to present anymore danger to the two of you..." He said, turning and walking towards the edge of the rooftop. He knew that with his large amount of Spiritual Pressure, even if he was trying to conceal it as much as he could, that it would draw in Hollows as easily as if he was wearing a beacon screaming 'find me!'.
(Sorry it took me so long.)

“I’m proud of myself… please don’t misunderstand me” Hotaru whispered as she heard Captain Ichinose´s reply. She just apologized because she thought it was the right thing according to the manners she had been taught; it didn’t affect her so badly to react slower than the captain, anyone with common sense knew that it was impossible to do so. Through she was kinda upset by the fact that she got tired after fighting three hollows; usually it took more to get her tired.
She sighed and turned her attention back at Tokei. “So…time as a weapon?? Your ability? That’s how you stopped the hollow before, isn’t it?” She asked interested and surprised as she saw the staff disappearing. Through she had heard of elemental and psychic abilities on humans; but never heard of humans having the ability to control time, now that she thought about, she also didn’t know of any shinigami able to do such thing. Hotaru listened calmly to his next comment, she thought it was nice he kept them as a memory of his grandfather; but something in his words bothered her. “Hey Kid, we’re not “things”, we do have a name” She said offended while putting one hand on her hip and the other one pointing accusingly at Tokei.
She looked over as she noticed Captain Ichinose speaking to her “I will sir” Was all she said, turning her gaze to inspect Tokei, he could be a really tempting prey to hollows; his spiritual pressure was unusual for a human and through he had some powers, he probably didn’t know how to control them and use them effectively in battle; an easy prey for one or two hollows. She sighed again at the next words of the captain, he indeed had a point; his spiritual pressure attracted hollows like honey attracted bees. Also it didn’t help the fact that hollows were everywhere in this town, she had never seen such a thing happen before…now that she thought about it… why was Captain Ichinose here??, Was he here because of the sudden appearance of several hollows? A captain didn’t come to the living world just like that.
“Excuse me Captain Ichinose” She called for him “I know I should not ask you so directly but… Why are you here? in the living world? Is everything alright?” She asked lowly and warily, hoping she didn’t offend him. Through, there was actually a question that she knew she shouldn’t ask right now and probably Captain Ichinose wouldn’t be able to answer…was the sudden increase in hollows attacks related to the captains that betrayed Seireitei??? Her teeth clenched at the simple thought of them. They were nothing but bastards, she wished she could crash them down one time and another, or at least be able to stop them to do whatever they were planning to do. But the truth was that she wasn’t even able to survive more than a minute in a fight with the weakest of them, much less beat them.

"S-sorry, I didn't mean it that way, I meant Spirit Beings in general." Tokei said, to Hotaru. He yawned, as he headed to his house, "I'm not used to being up this late."
"Uh, ma'am, do you need anything, I could help out a little."
His thoughts were racing in his head, trying to wrap it's self around the fact he froze time. "Do you know anyone that can stop time like I did?" His watch began grinding again, with the mention of the word stop, it glowed purple and died a minute later. "Aww, not again." he muttered, as he took his watch off.
Realizing he forgot about the Shinigami, again, he looked back at her, and introduced himself. "I am Tokei Tatsujin, but my friends call me Tei," He said, suddenly yawning again.
"My family has a few spare rooms, if either of you ever need to crash, I bet I can make a few excuses and let you stay at my place." Tokei offered, as they had just saved his life, this was one way to pay them back. "You could also help me to control my spiritual power."

Raeko heard the question from Tsuzuki, casting a look back over his shoulder at the girl. His features softened for a moment as he watched her, remaining quiet as he thought over his answer. "I do not have a good history with the Seiretei.... I prefer to be here in the World of the Living... doing my part." He said simply, preferring not to go into too much detail. Though it wasn't exactly private information about his former departure from the Seiretei, it wasn't widely spoken of that the reason he'd left was due to the fact that his superiors in the Stealth Force had ordered him to assassinate a rogue Shinigami that had left the Seiretei only to be with the woman he loved. They had ordered him to murder an innocent man, and he still held the guilt of that deed with every day.
He looked towards Tokei, hearing the question from the boy. "I do not know of anyone that possesses the same abilities that you do. I don't even know where to begin in helping you control your abilities.... I'm sure miss Hotaru here wouldn't mind showing you a few introductory things that all Shinigami know, but aside from that I don't think I can help you." He said, and then listening to the offer for a place to stay, he shook his head, "I do appreciate the offer, but I must refuse... I have quarters and it wouldn't be safe for me to be around either one of you much longer, I'd bring trouble to the both of you." He said, stepping up onto the ledge of the rooftop. "Keep him safe..." He said to Hotaru, before stepping over the edge and dropping into the darkness of the city below.

“It’s ok; just don’t talk like that without thinking…it can be offensive” Hotaru said to Tokei while relaxing her pose and sighing. Being called thing wasn’t her favourite nickname, yet it wasn’t enough reason to make big argue about it, so she just let it pass with that simple apologize. He watched him walking to what she assumed was his house.
“An unexpected answer” she thought as she heard Captain Ichinose´s answer, also his tone was unexpected; she looked more intently at him, somehow she felt there was something else he didn’t say, something she didn’t liked to talk about…probably asking him about his reasons to be in the living world wasn’t a good idea.
She then turned back at Tokei as he made his questions. Hotaru shook her head “I’ve never met someone with that kind of ability” She said as she did so. Suddenly she heard some strange noises, she looked at Tokei´s watch, which was the one making the sound, it was all weird acting and then died. “Does it do that everytime??” She whispered to herself, looking curiously at the clock. Her eyebrow twitched nervously as she heard Captain Ichinose talking about her teaching some stuff to Tokei. It was a sure thing she could and personally she didn’t have much trouble about it, but…was it alright to do so?? Well…she guessed that if the captain was saying it, it was ok. Finally she just nodded at Captain Ichinose; she had now the task to look after Tokei, through surely it wouldn’t be as simple as it sounded. She turned back at Tokei as the captain was gone “Nice to meet you Tokei, mmmhhh…maybe I should introduce myself again… I’m Hotaru Tsuzuki, guess I’ll be like your bodyguard for a while” She said in a friendly tone. “Through right now better than talking about it you should get some sleep” She added into her mind.
Then she remembered his last offering…a place to rest did sound tempting. “If you wouldn’t mind I do accept your offer, through honestly if it’s too much of a trouble I can stay somewhere else” She said, through her “somewhere else to rest” where she’d stay was the bench of a park or a dusty and old abandoned building.

"Stupid watch... I'm gonna hafta rewind it again..." He muttered to himself, unknowingly answering Hotaru's question.
"Hey, you're to be my bodyguard or something like that, It's the least I can do. After all it'd be safer to be near each other." He replied, as he opened a door. "Coming?" He asked, as he headed inside, and turned on a table lamp, “The first door on the left is ready for guests. Hotaru, how many Soul Reapers are in this town? Last time I saw one, it was one of my classmates, his name was Ichigo Kurosaki.” He said, remembering that things were also hectic a few days ago. As Tokei yawned, he opened another door, as one of the ghosts decided to float through the wall… “Don’t mind them, they’re waiting to find the right person to choose their worldly possessions. There’s like 4 ghosts here today. They’re harmless unless one of them decides to haunt the toilet again…”
Tokei yawns again, for the third time, and looks at his clock on the wall. "I have 3 hours before I need to be up.."

Hotaru huffed in a humorous tone; it was pretty funny to see how concerned was Tokei about his match and how he seemed to completely forget about the world around him while watching it. “Guess you’re right…if hollows keep appearing like that it’s more practical to watch each other’s back” She said while she stood in her place as he walked to the building ahead of them and opened the door; for some reason she still feel unsure about following Tokei near the house. She wasn’t used to be in the living world…much less she was used to these modern buildings. Her head tilted slightly as she was called to get in. Finally she stepped forward, walking the space between her and the entrance and getting into the house after Tokei, her pace calm and light, making barely any sound as she walked. She looked around the place illuminated by the small lamp, it was quite welcoming. She followed Tokei through the house, nodding as he pointed the way to the room where she guessed she was going to stay. Then his sudden question surprised her, she actually didn’t know the answer. “It’s hard to tell Tokei, usually there’s a shinigami who takes care of a certain area, through some other shinigami like me come and go when it’s needed” She whispered to not wake up anyone. “And that Kuro…errrr…your classmate, are you sure of what you saw?” She asked, she wasn’t surprised that there was way more shinigamis here and that probably Tokei found one, but a shinigami going to college?? It sounded rather unusual…through that name sounded familiar, have she heard it before??
Unconsciously she kept following Tokei, her mind more interested into watching the details of the house. As the ghost passed through the wall she blinked twice, she had been so distracted that she hadn’t noticed the ghosts before. She wondered if she should let the ghosts float around until they fulfilled their purposes, or sent them right now to soul society. She decided to leave them be, just for now, she could sent them later since Tokei had said that they were harmless and they didn’t seem to be candidates to transform into hollows. “I know you’re waiting and I respect that, as soon as you’re done I’ll be more than glad to help you getting to the other side, just don’t forget that it isn’t a good idea to wait too long” She said kindly to the ghost in front of her, hoping that the others have heard her. “And… one more thing… don’t ever dare to try anything funny with the toilet or with something else” She warned in a firm tone, giving a serious glare to the directions she felt the ghosts where. At least she sighed and turned her gaze back at Tokei as he yawned, again “If it’s so late you should really go to sleep, you deserve it, there’s nothing else to worry about tonight so you can go in peace”

"You... and that Rukia Kuchiki person were there. So was a solider." He said, yawning, as he opened the door to the guest room. Inside it was an assortment of clocks along the wall, none of them were actually working. "This'll be your room. I'll come wake you up in the morning, for Breakfast." He said.
"Goodnight Hotaru, I think this makes us friends." Tokei said, before leaving the room, to attend his room. It was hard for him to ever make any friends, Ichigo was as close as he got to having anyone able to stand him. Hotaru and Captain Raeko might be his friends, since saving his life must mean something to them. And his time stopping ability must also be something as well.

“So he was also there…” Hotaru thought. She didn’t remember clearly to see Tokei on that day; probably because she was more worried about the hollows than into recognizing every person that was there. She looked around the room Tokei had pointed was hers. This guy really had something for clocks… they were everywhere!! Well, at least none of them were working; if they were Hotaru wouldn’t have slept not even a bit.
“Good night Tokei” She said lowly, closing the door after he left. The word friend did really sound weird when they referred it to her. Few people called her friend, and when she meant few she was talking only about 1 or 2 people, due to the fact that she barely talked to anyone; through it was hard to admit she felt unsure when talking to people. “How I can fight hollows, but not dare to speak to anyone??” She huffed at the thought while taking off her arm protectors; she really had to do something her lack of social abilities. But for today all that was left was sleep. Lately things had been really agitated; she needed to get all the rest she could. She didn’t even care of undoing her braids; finally the exhaustion of these days have overcame her and she didn’t feel like doing something else. “Well, tomorrow is a new day” She whispered to her zanpakuto, that now rested against the wall, next to the bed. Finally Hotaru slid into the blankets; giving into sleep almost immediately.
